Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an experienced Security Operations Technician II to support onsite security operations and technical security across data center environments. You will work with managers, site teams, and vendors to ensure uptime, readiness, and disciplined escalation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, incident response, and coordination with stakeholders to maintain service continuity in a high-availability setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in security operations, physical security systems, field service, facilities support, or related environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of security operations and physical security systems support in a critical or service-oriented environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance for security components with less direct supervision.
• Ability to identify issues, apply corrective actions, and escalate more complex problems appropriately.
• Experience with service tickets, maintenance logs, or work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day onsite security operations across assigned data center environments.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for security components.
• Assist with incident response, escalation, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with site teams and support partners to maintain operational continuity.
• Complete required training and apply learned procedures in day-to-day work.
