Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. in Missouri seeks a Project Engineer to support data center site development and heavy civil construction, coordinating with project managers, field crews, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will review drawings, develop plans, manage documentation and procurement, and collaborate across teams using Procore and CAD tools to resolve constructability challenges and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience supporting data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications; Procore or similar CM software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordination across the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specs, and civil plans for execution.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project records.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement activities.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
