Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our on-site data center team. You will record and track onsite assets, manage logistics, and conduct audits to ensure accurate inventory and optimal resource use.

You will collaborate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance, maintain detailed records, use inventory software, and travel as needed to audits at various locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with asset management software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Curious nature to identify and solve problems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
• Comfortable working in a data center environment, and ability to move and lift heavy objects.
• Capable of flexing and pivoting as priorities shift.
• Willingness to learn about cloud compute services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and IT assets within the data center region.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of IT materials and ensure storage and distribution within the data center and to other facilities.
• Conduct ongoing audits of the asset inventory to verify accuracy and update records.
• Collaborate with operations to allocate resources efficiently and optimize utilization.
• Keep detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits; provide regular reports to management.
• Utilize inventory management software and tools to maintain records.
• Maintain open communication with teams including Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and prevent issues.
