Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our onsite data center team. You will track assets, manage logistics, conduct audits, and ensure efficient utilization of hardware and materials within the data center region.

Ideal candidates have proven inventory management experience, excel proficiency, and familiarity with asset management software. You will collaborate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to maintain accurate records and reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with asset management software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
• Comfortable in a data center environment and able to move and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Asset Tracking: maintain accurate inventory of hardware and IT assets within the data center region.
• Logistics Management: coordinate shipping and receiving of IT materials and ensure safe storage and distribution.
• Audits: conduct ongoing audits to verify inventory accuracy and update records.
• Resource Allocation: collaborate with operations to allocate resources efficiently and optimize utilization.
• Documentation: maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits; provide regular reports.
• Technology Skills: use inventory management software and tools to maintain records.
• Communication: liaise with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to ensure workflow.
• Problem Solving: identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Travel: willingness to travel to support audits at various data center locations.
