Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks a L1 Data Center Service Delivery Field Support Engineer to join our Miami team. The role is 100% on-site in Miami, FL with no remote options. You will configure infrastructure, install software, and provide first-line field support to clients, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve incidents.

Required is a Bachelor’s in IT or Computing and 1+ year of DC networking experience, plus certs like CCNA DC. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Associate level certification in Data Centre technologies (Cisco, NetApp, EMC DC).
• 1+ year experience building, deploying and supporting data center networking.
• Knowledge of Nexus and MDS switching.

Responsibilities

• Ensure infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
• Install and configure software per client requirements.
• Identify problems and log incidents with detail.
• Coordinate with client IT, carriers and teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Respond to alerts and escalate to L2 when needed.
• Provide first line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Follow handover procedures to ensure service continuity.
