Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose and repair data center hardware onsite within a 120-mile radius, with travel reimbursement and a standard M-F 8am-5pm schedule. After-hours on-call rotation is required to support customer issues.

The role requires hands-on hardware knowledge, OEM data center experience, and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to client sites. A valid driver’s license is a must.

Qualifications

• Experience with OEM data center hardware and grasp of new products/concepts.
• Proven field service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; CompTIA A+ and Server+ preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with suitable driving record; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site hardware diagnostics and repair for data center equipment within assigned territory.
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with support centers.
• Complete administrative paperwork, timesheets and expense reports accurately.
