Job summary

Park Place Technologies, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customer sites within a geographic territory. You will diagnose, repair, and analyze data center hardware, SANs, and system configurations, with travel up to 120 miles per service call.

The role requires driving your own vehicle, reimbursement for travel, and participation in after-hours on-call rotations. Expect Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedules with potential overtime and on-site work at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with OEM data center hardware and ability to grasp new products/concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; CompTia A+ and Server+ preferred.
• Ability to pass background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite system diagnostic and analysis support to customers within territory.
• Respond to customers' system failures with hardware service, testing, and analysis.
• Maintain effective communication with customer and support center during repair process.
• Identify needed parts and documentation to minimize downtime and trips.
• Utilize remote diagnosis tools for initial assessment and configuration changes.
• Follow customer repair procedures and assess current and future needs.
