Job summary

Assured Information Security, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Field Service Representative (Infrastructure Support) to support a critical DoD cyber operations program.

This onsite role in Hanover, MD requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly and involves occasional shift work. You will integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize system components across test and production environments, administer Linux/Windows, and manage network/Cisco configurations while mentoring teammates and adapting to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years of related experience or Master’s with 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python for deployment/automation.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Experience patching Windows and Linux vulnerabilities.
• Experience with host-based networking and Cisco configurations.
• Familiarity with STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Provide system integration, troubleshooting, and optimization across test and production environments.
• Perform daily system administration, patching, performance optimization, and proactive monitoring.
• Assess user needs and implement upgrades, configuration changes, and enhancements.
• Monitor system load and capacity to plan technical refreshes and ensure performance.
• Install and maintain RHEL updates using Ansible; use shell scripting for automation.
• Manage Splunk cluster health and automate monitoring improvements.
• Install/upgrade Cisco NX-OS, Catalyst devices, VCenter/ESXi/Horizon components.
• Administer and expand NetApp LUNs with ISCSI connectivity and storage growth.
• Develop innovative solutions and mentor team members when needed.
• Support shifting priorities including occasional weekend work.
