Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking an experienced Technical Field Service Representative (Infrastructure Support) to support a critical 24/7 DoD cyber operations program in Wahiawa, Hawaii. The role requires an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly and involves shift work with on-call rotations.

You will integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize system components across test and production environments, perform daily administration, and manage Splunk, VCenter/ESXi/Horizon, and NetApp LUNs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of directly related experience or Master's with 3+ years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python for deployment and automation.
• Linux and Windows system administration.
• Patching Windows and Linux vulnerabilities, host-based networking and Cisco configurations.
• Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Linux+ or similar certification; CCNA certification.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor load and capacity to plan technical refreshes.

• Manage Splunk cluster and indexer health; implement monitoring and automation improvements.
• Install/upgrade Cisco NX-OS, Catalyst devices, VCenter, ESXi, and Horizon components.
• Administer and expand NetApp LUNs; ensure iSCSI connectivity and storage growth.
• Develop innovative solutions; mentor team members as needed.
• Support on-call and weekend installations with flexibility.

Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for an experienced Technical Field Service Representative (Infrastructure Support) to support a critical-24/7 DoD cyber operations program. This program contributes directly to the execution of DoD's cyber missions. This position involves working on a platform that empowers cyber operators with robust cyber defense and offense capabilities.

This is an onsite position located at Wahiawa, Hawaii and requires an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly. The position involves shift work and evening/weekend on-call duty rotation.

What You'll Do

• Support developers by integrating, troubleshooting, and optimizing system components across test and production environments.
• Perform daily system administration, including configuration, patching, performance optimization, and proactive monitoring to maintain stability and reliability.
• Assess user needs and implement system upgrades, configuration changes, and enhancements that improve functionality and overall user experience.
• Monitor system load, usage trends, and capacity to plan technical refreshes and ensure sustainable performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain mid-range operating systems; lead RHEL updates using Ansible and leverage shell scripting for automation.
• Manage Splunk cluster and indexer health to ensure continuous data flow and data integrity; implement monitoring and automation improvements.
• Install and upgrade Cisco NX-OS and Catalyst devices, as well as VCenter, ESXi, and Horizon client suite components.
• Administer and expand NetApp LUNs, ensuring reliable ISCSI connectivity and storage growth.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges by applying advanced consulting skills and deep technical expertise while mentoring team members when needed.
• Support operational demands and shifting priorities —including occasional weekend installations and last-minute schedule changes—with flexibility and a positive, team-oriented approach.

Education/Experience/Skillset Required

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of directly related experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of directly related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with the following:
  • Deployment and automation scripting with Ansible and Python
  • Linux and Windows system administration
  • Patching Windows and Linux vulnerabilities, host-based networking and Cisco configurations
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Linux+ certification or similar certification
• CCNA certification

Travel: Up to 10%

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

US Salary Range: $112,500 - $150,000

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
