Job summary

Triangle Cyber, LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Incident Manager to provide on-site incident management support for a large federal client in Arlington, VA. You will triage incidents, assess scope and urgency, and coordinate response actions across security teams.

The role requires 5+ years in cyber incident management, an active Top Secret clearance, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Must live within 60 miles of Arlington and work on-site weekdays during the day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent hands-on experience in cybersecurity
• Active Top Secret clearance required
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations
• Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA (within 60 miles) Monday–Friday, day shift
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and handling procedures
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53/FISMA reporting requirements
• Understanding of National Cyber Incident Scoring System for triage prioritization
• Familiarity with common attack stages and vulnerability classifications
• Knowledge of basic system administration and OS hardening concepts
• Awareness of various threat environments (script kiddies to nation-state)
• Understanding of network defense concepts and CND best practices

Responsibilities

• Perform CND incident triage: scope, urgency, potential impact
• Correlate incident data to identify trends
• Recommend defense-in-depth principles and practices
• Research and compile known resolution steps for mitigation
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions
• Monitor external data sources to stay current on CND threat conditions
