Job summary

Triangle Cyber is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Manager (2nd Shift) to provide on-site incident management support for a large federal client in Arlington, VA. You will perform CND incident triage, correlate data to identify trends, and recommend defense-in-depth strategies to mitigate threats.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance, 2+ years of relevant experience, and a BS in CS/Cybersecurity/IT (or equivalent) along with knowledge of NIST 800-62, FISMA, and incident scoring systems.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• 2+ years of direct incident management or cybersecurity ops experience.
• Bachelor of Science in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or related field, or 4 years hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-62 and FISMA reporting.
• Knowledge of the National Cyber Incident Scoring System.
• Knowledge of attack stages from footprinting to exploitation.
• Knowledge of system administration and OS hardening.
• Awareness of different operational threat environments.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and attacks.

Responsibilities

• Triage CND incidents to determine scope, urgency, and impact.
• Correlate incident data to identify trends.
• Recommend defense-in-depth strategies and practices.
• Research and catalog known resolution steps for mitigations.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to intrusion detection and defense.
• Monitor external data sources to stay current on threat conditions.
