Job summary

UPMC Resolve Crisis Service seeks Crisis Clinicians to support Allegheny County residents through chat and text platforms. On-site work with rotating 24/7 shifts, including weekends and holidays. Multiple clinician levels and a sign-on bonus are available based on education and experience.

Role focuses on emotional support, crisis assessment, and risk management using written communication. Documentation in EMR and collaboration with clinicians are essential to provide timely, person-centered

Qualifications

• Experience delivering crisis support via chat/text platforms.
• Comfort with crisis intervention in virtual settings.
• Able to maintain engagement and rapport through written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support to individuals in distress via chat and text.
• Assess risk and develop safety plans with texters.
• Document interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate with clinicians to determine disposition and referrals.
• Participate in trainings and team meetings.
• Build rapport and guide conversations toward goals.
