Job summary
Vincere in Winder, GA seeks a Controls Systems Engineer to drive industrial control projects from scope through startup, focusing on PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, control panels, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.
You’ll work with municipal water and wastewater utilities on treatment plants, pump stations, and remote sites. This onsite role includes 60% travel within Northeast Georgia (2–3 days/week) and occasional on-call hours that are fully paid.
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience in industrial controls or automation.
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs from scratch.
- Proficient with HMI/SCADA applications such as VT Scada, Wonderware/AVEVA, FactoryTalk View, Ignition.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs; AutoCAD Electrical a plus.
- Willingness to travel 60% within Northeast GA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and startup industrial control projects from scope to startup.
- Program PLCs, develop SCADA/HMI, and design/control panels.
- Provide field troubleshooting and commissioning at client sites.
- Collaborate with municipal water/wastewater utilities.
