Job summary

Connexa Search Group is seeking a skilled Controller for a privately owned organization in Spartanburg County, SC. This role oversees all accounting operations across affiliated entities and reports to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, 5+ in Controller leadership.
• Multi-entity accounting experience and exposure to systems design.
• Experience with large ERP platforms and evaluating or implementing systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations across affiliated entities.
• Own evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new accounting platform.
• Lead month, quarter, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and present consolidated financial statements.
• Manage intercompany transactions and internal controls.
• Mentor accounting staff and advise senior leadership on strategy.
