Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing and absorption accounting.
• Experience with intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting.
• Comfortable managing direct reports and serving as the senior accounting presence on site.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and ensure the books are accurate and timely
• Manage two direct reports handling accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain standard costing and absorption accounting
• Handle intercompany transactions between company sites
• Ensure accounting practices align with GAAP and support reporting requirements from the parent organization
• Partner with leadership on process improvement as the business scales
• Support the transition to a future enterprise system implementation
• Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for the site
