Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions, part of the Cobalt Service Partners portfolio, seeks a hands-on Controller to build and lead accounting across multiple branches. You will own the close process, implement scalable practices, and roll up your sleeves to drive performance in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires leading a team, partnering with operations, and owning NetSuite controls as the business scales through acquisitions and expansion.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7–15 years of progressive accounting experience, multi-location or PE-backed environments.
• Strong NetSuite expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting across multi-branch operations and drive month-end close.
• Assess current practices, identify gaps, implement structured processes.
• Provide direction to accounting staff; coach and develop team.
• Hands-on accounting tasks when needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Design scalable processes across branches and implement shared services.
