Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and All Spoken Languages.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience as required by client credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client requirements relating to interpreter ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data‑protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, etc.).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, visitors, healthcare professionals, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency, terminology, and subject matter knowledge for accurate interpretation.
