Job summary

Aptean is seeking a Contract HR Generalist (4-5 months) to join the North American HR Leadership team in Alpharetta, GA. The role combines strategic partnering with hands-on operational work, supporting US/Canada HR Business Partners and leaders.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a similar role, experience with U.S. visa processes, and familiarity with Oracle HCM. This onsite position offers exposure to a global HR team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with certification in Human Resources.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Prior global mobility or work visa administration.
• Experience with Oracle HCM is preferred.
• Experience in software industry or in a private equity-backed company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide initiative driven operational support to our North America team on a variety of tasks throughout the lifecycle of an employee.
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting U.S. work visa processes, including liaising with internal stakeholders and legal teams.
• Handle employee inquiries by educating and recommending solutions or escalating appropriately.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all HR employee data and up-to-date documentation for all employees.
• Participate in notification meetings with leaders, conduct exit interviews and complete exit paperwork.
• Liaise with Payroll on compensation changes following set procedures and through data entry.
• Actively contribute to projects to continuously improve the efficiency and capacity of the HR team in North America.
