Job summary

AG SOLUTIONS LLC in Lehi, Utah, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations on our construction projects, including job cost tracking, AP/AR, and month-end closing. This in-person role emphasizes accuracy and collaboration with Project Managers.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, basic accounting principles knowledge, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience with MS Excel and accounting software.
Construction or job cost accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices and verify proper job number and cost code assignments.
Track construction project costs and expenses.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Review job costs and assist with budget-to-actual reporting.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Communicate with Project Managers regarding job costs, invoices, and billing questions.
Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
