Legence in Phoenix, AZ seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting, month-end close, job costing, and financial reporting on construction projects.

The role collaborates with Project Managers and Operations, offering growth toward Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager, with exposure to ASC 606, SOX, and ERP systems like Sage 300 CRE. Office-based, onsite environment with standard benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Mansioni

• Prepare and record journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
