Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Construction Scheduler to develop, maintain, and communicate schedules that drive field performance and leadership decisions. You will construct CPM baselines, update them with real progress, and flag risks early while challenging unusable sequences in the field.

You will serve as the bridge between superintendents, project managers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure the schedule reflects committed dates, not wishful thinking. A hands-on onsite approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction scheduling on active projects.
• 4+ years with Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar scheduling tools.
• 4+ years of owner/CM specification-driven schedules (e.g., DCMA 14-point, USACE).

Responsibilities

• Build baseline CPM schedules from drawings, specs, estimates, bid packages, and construction sequences.
• Maintain the live schedule with progress from field teams; publish regular updates.
• Own the critical path and explain end-date shifts and recovery plans.
• Produce three-week look-ahead schedules aligned with the master schedule.
• Analyze schedule impact of RFIs, change orders, late-outs, access constraints, long-lead items, weather, and labor shortages; prepare TIAs and recovery scenarios.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, estimators, procurement, design, owners/CMs, and subs to reflect committed dates.
• Resource-load and, where required, cost-load the schedule; flag crew stacking and production rates.
• Prepare narratives, variance reports, S-curves, histograms, and executive summaries.
• Support delay documentation with contemporaneous records when needed.
• Enforce schedule standards: naming, coding, update process, backup, version control.
• Facilitate or support pull-planning / Last Planner sessions and convert commitments into CPM logic.
• Visit the site regularly to validate schedule assumptions.
