Job summary

Medcor seeks a seasoned Construction Supervisor to join the Construction Health & Safety team in Hartford, CT. You will oversee on-site coordination of contractors and subcontractors, ensure work meets quality standards, and maintain the project schedule under the Project Manager's guidance.

The role requires leading planning with clients and design professionals, managing budgets, enforcing safety standards, and resolving field issues to minimize delays.

Qualifications

• 10+ years CSA Construction supervision experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction required.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
• Knowledge of Primavera preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate construction projects on-site with client, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Schedule and coordinate project steps to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates; monitor costs and progress with the client.
• Enforce safety standards and codes on the jobsite; ensure compliance by all workers.
• Lead problem resolution with contractors/design professionals and adapt to delays or emergencies.
• Develop good working relationships with owners, managers, designers, supervisors, and craft workers.
