Job summary

Actalent in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee onsite performance of construction and maintenance work in accordance with contract requirements and cost estimates. The role includes pursuing utility and industrial project work, managing project P&L, and supervising large service projects across the district.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant construction and project experience
• 5+ years of management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills & leadership abilities
• Ability to influence at all levels
• Big detail orientation and organization
• Must be onsite at the site location and willing to travel
• Big picture / multi-site experience interacting with customers, vendors and/or unions
• Hands on experience with industrial boilers

Responsibilities

• Onsite performance of construction and maintenance work in accordance with contract requirements
• Monitor project change management issues and ensure cognizance of cost estimates
• Manage project P&L within the district
• Oversee, review, and approve project execution
• Frequently staff project job sites and oversee large service/outage project performance
• Communicate significant project issues to management and ensure compliance with company policies and ethics programs
• Develop and manage talent within the district and confront labor relations issues as needed
