Job summary

AGS is seeking a Construction Manager/Engineer to oversee projects from conception to completion on site in California. The role requires budgeting, organization, and scheduling with compliance to safety regulations; security clearance may be required.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with licensure in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management, 10+ years in the field, and LEED AP, with strong communication and teamwork skills. US work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and licensure in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, and/or similar.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering or construction management.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (written, oral).
• Be a team player and able to work successfully in a highly collaborative environment.
• LEED AP qualification.
• Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Required to be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Develop Schematic, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits andlicenses.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
