Job summary

Priority Power in Midland, TX seeks a Construction Manager to lead field execution on power delivery projects, including substations, transmission, distribution, and solar. You own safety, quality, and documentation on site, coordinating contractors under the direction of the Project Manager.

Responsibilities include planning field activities, maintaining Procore records, ensuring drawings and specs are followed, controlling materials, supporting commissioning, and protecting project commercial

Qualifications

• Field construction experience on substation, transmission, distribution, or generation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients, engineers, and contractors.
• Experience leading or coordinating contractors and crews; safety-focused.
• Procore experience strongly preferred; able to manage daily field records.

Responsibilities

• Lead safely; identify hazards, review JSA, and conduct tailgate meetings.
• Inspect quality against drawings, specifications, and codes; manage punch lists.
• Plan and observe construction; coordinate contractors; represent Priority Power in meetings.
• Maintain daily reports, RFIs, photos, and punch lists in Procore; manage redlines.
• Control materials; verify deliveries meet specs and provide current drawings.
• Support commissioning; witness equipment setting and walk-downs during testing and sign-off.
• Protect the commercial position; track contracts, permits, and change orders.
