Job summary

Priority Power seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead utility-class electrical infrastructure projects (substation, transmission, distribution) from development through turnover in Midland, Texas. You will own safety, schedule, cost, forecast, contract compliance, and risk while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and field teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering or PM discipline, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Procore, NetSuite, and project

Qualifications

• PM experience on utility-class electrical infrastructure (substation, transmission, or distribution).
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/civil engineering or PM/construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of substation, transmission, and distribution systems.
• Contract and commercial awareness including EPC agreements and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the project by managing engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Own schedule, budget, and forecast; maintain baselines and report project health with recovery plans.
• Protect the commercial position by administering contracts and changes while ensuring compliance.
• Lead safety and quality with the HSE program and QA processes on every project.
• Procure and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors; track long-lead equipment.
• Manage stakeholders and run project meetings; coordinate interconnection, permits, and land agreements.
• Direct field teams; set priorities for Construction and Site Managers and ensure standards.
• Escalate risks promptly with options and recommendations to the Portfolio Manager.
