Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure adherence to contract documents and project schedule. The role focuses on coordinating self-performed and subcontracted trades, while enforcing safety and quality controls across active sites.

Ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in a related field and 3+ years of field supervision, with a strong grasp of scheduling, contracts, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must supervise and coordinate field work with contractors and self-performed trades.
• Strong knowledge of safety programs and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents and schedules.
• Experience directing multiple crews to meet milestones and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with the contract documents, project schedule and the planned sequence of work.
• Be aware of milestone dates and requirements to achieve them.
• Develop an understanding of activity durations.
• Apply knowledge of equipment capability and plan utilization.
• Know delivery dates for materials/equipment affecting trades.
• Supervise field workforce and manage budgets in line with expectations.
• Implement safety program and conduct safety inspections; enforce standards.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
