Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations on designated areas and trades. You will ensure work aligns with the project schedule, contract documents, and safety protocols while supervising the field team and coordinating with subcontractors.

The role requires 3–6 years in construction management, knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline preferred.
• 3–6 years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role.
• Ability to direct work of others including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower.
• Strong safety and government regulation knowledge (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work per contract documents and schedule.
• Understand scope of work for assigned areas/trades.
• Develop understanding of activity durations.
• Plan equipment utilization to meet project needs.
• Track material/equipment delivery dates affecting areas/trades.
• Monitor field labor costs and pursue cost-saving remedies.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and conduct inspections.
• Maintain relations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build relationships with industry professionals to win work.
• Identify, hire and retain top talent for Clark projects.
• Exceed stakeholders' expectations by anticipating needs and goals.
