Job summary

Lathan McKee Architects seeks a Field Administrator to oversee active construction projects and bridge clients, project teams and regulators. This role requires extensive site work, client interaction and coordination with contractors to ensure top standards are met.

You will conduct site visits, support OAC meetings, review plans, track progress, and manage RFIs and submittals while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly site visits for assigned projects
• Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings
• Perform state mandated inspections with the appropriate state building inspector
• Submit detailed reports for each job site visit
• Provide onsite project coordination and track progress against plans and specifications
• Assist in managing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals and change order requests
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships on behalf of the firm
