Foothills Professional Pharmacy in the Greater Phoenix Area is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to oversee compounded medications on-site. You will verify, dispense, and counsel as part of a telemedicine-supported workflow, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with technicians, and ongoing quality improvement to support patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Arizona.
• Experience or strong interest in compounding pharmacy practices with USP standards.
• Clinical pharmacy skills including prescription verification and drug interaction screening.
• Familiarity with telemedicine workflows and electronic prescribing systems.
• Available to work Mo-Fri 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and Saturdays (6am-2pm).

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and accurate preparation, verification, and dispensing of compounded medications.
• Review prescriptions and perform clinical checks for safety and efficacy.
• Counsel providers as needed and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow.
• Maintain detailed documentation and support telemedicine fulfillment processes.
• Monitor inventory and controlled substances; participate in QA and continuous improvement.
