Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist for a health and wellness organization recognized for excellence in healthcare and a Best Workplace designation. The role focuses on supervising technicians, performing and documenting compounding and quality checks, and ensuring compliance with USP and regulatory standards.

Shifts run from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Qualified candidates hold a Pharmacy degree, active Arizona license, 2+ years of experience, with non-sterile

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters
