Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Tempe, AZ to lead compounding operations within a health-focused organization. You will supervise technicians, ensure accurate compounding, and maintain regulatory compliance while counseling patients and verifying drug records.

Requirements include a PharmD or B.Pharm, active AZ license, 2+ years exp, and USP knowledge. The role supports a dynamic culture with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License required.
• 2+ years pharmacist experience required.
• Non-sterile compounding experience required.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills required.
• Respirator fit testing ability required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
