Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to join a health-focused organization. The role involves supervising technicians, performing compounding and quality checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance in USP and state/federal guidelines.

Shifts run 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM; strong math skills, English proficiency, and AZ licensure are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy required.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License required.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience with non-sterile compounding.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills and ability to undergo respirator fit testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on regulatory matters.
