Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to supervise pharmacy technicians and perform and document compounding and quality checks. The role requires pharmacology expertise, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance.

Shifts run 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety. A license to practice in Arizona and 2+ years of experience are required, along with proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy is required.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License is required.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• English proficiency and Windows-based systems familiarity.
• Multi-state licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
