Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to supervise technicians, perform and document compounding, verify formulas, and ensure quality across all products. The role emphasizes USP compliance, patient counseling, and drug utilization reviews in a dynamic health-care setting.

Active Arizona pharmacist license and a pharmacy degree are required, with 2+ years of experience in compounding. Shifts run 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 5:30 PM–4:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with Arizona license and pharmacy degree.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience and compounding background.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
