Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Retail team as on-site Retail Experts at TurboTax locations across the United States. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs and achieve positive financial outcomes.

You will provide full-service tax preparation, advice, and software support in person, while growing the local client base and fostering long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses/certificates/bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Lead local marketing efforts and build long-term client relationships in the community.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sites and professional tools.
• Create an exceptional customer experience and foster trust to turn single transactions into long-term loyalty.
• Assist customers in person and via TurboTax tools to maximize refunds and plan for the future.
