Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Texas to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a residential community, under the Community Manager. You’ll focus on rent collection and cash flow, while supervising staff and ensuring adherence to policies and fair housing guidelines.

As onsite leader, you’ll manage leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks, monitor performance against budgets, and work to optimize resident satisfaction and retention through proactive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payments, income, and reconciliation for residents and applicants.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on bad debt; assist with notices and evictions.
• Assist property in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
