Job summary

Community Care Cooperative (C3) is seeking a Pharmacist I-III to oversee medication distribution and collaborate with health center physicians to determine medication type and dosage. You will take inventory and reorder drugs based on local demand while interacting with patients to answer questions about prescriptions.

The role includes supervising technicians, ensuring adherence to state and federal drug laws, and maintaining 340B drug inventory with a focus on patient safety and quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy college
• CPR/CPR-AED certification preferred
• Pharmacy licensure and ability to practice in MA

Responsibilities

• Oversees distribution of medications to patients and communicates with physicians to determine medication type and dosage
• Checks inventory and reorders drugs based on local demand
• Interacts with patients and pharmacy staff to provide medication information and counseling
• Monitors drug therapies and advises interventions
• Directs technicians in workflow and verifies preparation, labeling, entries, charges and inspections
• Ensures compliance with state and federal drug laws and maintains controlled substances records
