Job summary
The Community Health Pharmacist at Community Care Cooperative (C3) oversees medication distribution, collaborates with health center physicians on dosage, and ensures accurate ordering based on local demand. You will lead pharmacy operations and engage with patients to answer medication questions.
You will supervise technicians, maintain drug inventories including 340B, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while protecting patient safety in an onsite setting across our Outer
Qualifications
- Graduate degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy college
- Valid state pharmacist license
- CPR or CPR/AED certification
- MTM certification preferred
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Vaccination requirements per Mass.gov guidance
Responsibilities
- Oversee distribution of medications and counsel patients
- Develop staff pharmacy knowledge through clinical programs
- Perform medication reconciliation and comprehensive review
- Identify barriers to adherence and develop improvement plans
- Comply with state and federal drug laws and regulations
- Maintain records for controlled substances and 340B inventory
- Supervise support personnel and ensure proper labeling and inspections
- Maintain current pharmacy registration and infection-control practices
- Contribute to team goals and pharmacy operations
