Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager by handling financial and operational tasks. Responsibilities include rent collection, deposit processing, and preparing monthly financial reports using property management software.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in property management or residence life, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Onsite role with bonus potential and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in residence life or property management.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily financial transactions: collecting and posting rent and other payments, processing invoices and payables, and preparing deposits.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) accurately and maintains data integrity.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid or late fees and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices, codes charges, and communicates between vendors, accounting, and owners.
