Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc is seeking a Technical Service Representative to support customer sites in the Northern Wisconsin market, including the Tomahawk area. You will troubleshoot, optimize processes, and learn powder, ECOAT and pretreatment while aligning with PPG goals.

You’ll report to the local Technical Service Manager and participate in an annual bonus program as well as comprehensive benefits. Expect travel to various customer locations and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in wet paint and coatings or related industrial experience.
• Knowledge of paint mixing/application preferred.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Willingness to travel to various customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support at customer locations and communicate with coatings team.
• Ensure timely reporting to customer and coatings team.
• Coordinate with on-site team and promote EH&S practices.
• Resolve customer inquiries and monitor application processes on site.
• Assist sales in new opportunities, product launches, and process improvements.
• Follow safe work practices and collaborate with diverse personnel.
