Job summary

PPG is seeking a Technical Service Representative to be onsite at customer locations across the Northern Wisconsin market, with a focus near Tomahawk. You will ensure customer satisfaction through proactive service, troubleshooting, and adherence to coating specifications.

Responsibilities include on-site support, data collection, reporting to coatings teams, and collaboration with PPG account management. You may receive training on powder, ecoat, and pretreatment as needed. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in wet paint and coatings, electrostatic spray, or similar paints for industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge/experience with paint mixing and application is ideal.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Troubleshooting, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site at customer production facilities and PPG activities.
• Collect data, communicate with customers, and resolve problems promptly.
• Report accurately to the customer and coatings team.
• Coordinate with PPG technical and account management; lead on-site activities.
• Support sales through product launches, process optimization, testing, and trial execution.
• Follow safe work practices and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
