Job summary

Regal Rexnord seeks a CNC Setup Machinist to join our on-site manufacturing team in New Hartford, CT. You will set up CNC machines, read blueprints, and troubleshoot tooling to ensure high-quality, in-time production. Candidates should have 2-year machining experience and proficiency with micrometers and gauges.

Responsibilities include supporting process documentation, training teammates, and maintaining safety and Lean practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC machines, CNC lathes & millers, material handling, other machines.
• Ability to read micrometers, bore gauges, and other complex gauging.
• Ability to make minor program edits.
• Ability to maintain or modify tooling as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot tooling/programming problems on CNC equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Sets up CNC machines or equipment in diversified operations to produce a completed product.
• Move or direct the movement of materials to maintain production flow.
• Interpret process prints and use measuring devices for gauging.
• Understand machine controls and offset functions; programming not required.
• Perform production operations when not involved in other tasks.
• May perform machine operating and assembly as required.
• Adhere to safety rules and report questionable conditions.
• Apply, follow, and recommend Lean practices.
