Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in New Hartford, CT is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize CNC machinery across production lines. This hands-on role requires mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control experience, with the ability to perform testing and diagnostics on live equipment.

You will follow safety procedures, 5S workplace practices, maintain parts inventories, and document activities in CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or industrial maintenance training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machining centers, lathes, mills, grinders, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Okuma, or Mazak preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and related production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Operate CNC equipment to verify machine functionality, diagnose problems, and perform test runs after repairs.
• Perform machine inspections and document maintenance activities in maintenance management systems.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and support equipment procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, uptime, and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S principles.
