Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Auburn, AL, is seeking a machinist to assist with CNC programming, setup, and operation. You will read drawings, edit CNC programs, and produce replacement and prototype parts from engineering prints, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of machinist experience, with strong attention to safety and process standards. This is a fully onsite position with a standard four 10-hour shift week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience as a machinist.
• Experience with setting up and operating CNC and manual machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and prints.
• Ability to write CNC programs.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit/modify CNC programs.
• Operate CNC machines to engineering tolerances.
• Set up and operate manual lathes and tools.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot quality issues.
