Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Auburn, AL is seeking a Machinist II to set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machines from drawings to produce replacement parts and prototypes. You will read engineering prints and write CNC programs to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience as a machinist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit/modify CNC programs.
• Operate CNC machines according to exact tolerances specified on engineering prints.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, saws, cutting tools to meet exact tolerances on engineering prints.
• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance, including housekeeping duties as needed.
• Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues.
• Ensure the machine is following operational and safety guidelines.
• Meet all production standards.
• Run entire cell/area or multiple machines at a time.
• Work in a constant state of alertness with safety always a priority.
