Job summary

Regal Rexnord's Auburn, Alabama facility seeks an experienced machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machines. You will read engineering drawings to create replacement and prototype parts, and work from precise tolerances.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of machinist experience, with CAD familiarity a plus. Emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years as a machinist preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Ability to write CNC programs and set up machines.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit/modify programs for CNC Machines.
• Operate CNC machines according to exact tolerances on engineering prints.
• Set up and operate manual lathes and tooling to meet tolerances.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance; ensure safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues.
• Meet production standards and run multiple machines as needed.
