Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Auburn, AL is seeking a Machinist II for a full-time, onsite role. You will assist with setup, programming, operation, and adjustment of CNC and manual machines, reading drawings, and producing replacement and new parts for repairs or prototypes.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Able to work with AutoCAD drawings and measuring devices.
• Set up and operate manual lathes and other machines to tight tolerances.
• Change tooling and sequence setups to meet required machining steps.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic maintenance skills and housekeeping.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit/modify CNC programs.
• Operate CNC machines to engineering tolerances.
• Set up and run manual lathes and tools to tolerance.
• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and correct quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Run multiple machines or cells as needed.
