Job summary

Regal Rexnord Auburn plant seeks a CNC machinist to assist with setup, programming, operation, and adjustments of conventional and CNC machines. You will read drawings, write CNC programs, and manufacture replacement and new parts for repairs and prototypes.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of machinist experience, with emphasis on precision, tooling changes, and safety compliance. Onsite work with a safety‑driven culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a fully qualified machinist preferred.
• Emphasis on machinist trade highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write/edit/modify programs for CNC machines.
• Operate CNC machines according to exact tolerances on engineering prints.
• Set up and operate manual lathes and related tools to meet tolerances.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and correct operational and quality issues.
• Ensure machining complies with safety guidelines and production standards.
• Run multiple machines or entire cell as needed.
