Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's Bridgeport, WV Engine Center seeks a CMM Inspector to perform precision dimensional inspection on aircraft engine components during overhaul and repair.

You will use CMMs, PC-DMIS, and various gauges to verify critical dimensions and conformance with GD&T and engineering drawings. Training on first shift will lead to second shift support, in a highly regulated aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in dimensional inspection or related manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment and CMM operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspection duties on engines/components.
• Operate CMMs and interpret measurements.
• Use precision gauges (height gage, micrometer, calipers) and optical comparators.
• Follow drawings, specs, and GD&T requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to evaluate configurations.
